The AutoLab 2000 is a versatile, servo hydraulic, large bore triaxial system capable of supporting experiments requiring extensive instrumentation or a complex configuration. The unit is similar in design to the AutoLab 1500 except with a larger vessel bore diameter. AutoLab v6 software controls the system variables, simplifies the creation of new dynamically calculated channels, easily ques complex loading paths, and displays a preview of the results of your experiment plan.
AutoLab 2000 Key Features
- Servo-hydraulic control of force, axial displacement, confining pressure, pore pressure, and flow rate,
- Standard options include deformation with strain gauges and LVDTs, compressional and shear wave velocities, steady state and transient permeability, complex electrical impedance, counting and locating acoustic emissions (AE), and triaxial loading using flat jacks.
- Supports standard ASTM and ISRM rock mechanics tests,
- Base plug contains forty (40) high-pressure electrical feed thrus, a thermocouple well, and two pore pressure ports
- Pore pressure intensifiers with ceramic pistons and titanium bodies compatible with water, brine, CO2 saturated brine, gas, and oil,
- Output volumes the pore pressure intensifiers range from 59 cm3 (3.6 in3) to 482 cm3 (29.5 in3).
- An external furnace heats the sample to 175oC (350oF),
- Coupled process experiments with simultaneous deformation, velocity, and permeability for prescribed loading protocols,
- AutoLab v6 control, data acquisition, and processing software,.
